Planning
Every job starts with a plan that accounts for access, traffic, weather, ground conditions and the equipment on site. If conditions change, the plan changes.
Safety
Safety is not a poster on the wall. It is how the work gets planned, staffed and executed — every shift, on every site.
Our approach
Northern construction and oilfield work comes with real hazards: heavy equipment, remote locations, weather that changes fast and ground that does not always cooperate. We take that seriously.
Our supervisors plan the work before the crew arrives, and every worker has the authority to stop a job that is not safe. Nobody gets in trouble for calling it.
What it looks like
Every job starts with a plan that accounts for access, traffic, weather, ground conditions and the equipment on site. If conditions change, the plan changes.
Operators and labourers are trained for the work they do and the equipment they run. We would rather take the time up front than manage a problem later.
Equipment is inspected and maintained for northern conditions. Good iron is a safety system as much as an operational one.
Supervisors are responsible for their crews, and crews are responsible for each other. Everyone on site is expected to speak up.
Environment & community
We work in the traditional territory of the Blueberry River First Nations. That responsibility is not abstract to us.
We plan for spills, control erosion, clean up our sites, and restore the land when the work is done. We also hire locally and invest in training so the community benefits from the work happening around it.
